Luis Braille
Louis Braille (4 April 1803- 6 January 1852) - a French founder of
alphabet for the blind, called a Braille alphabet later.
Louis Braille was a son of Simon-René Braille'a, a tradesman fabricating
saddles.
At the age of 10 he gained a scholarship at a school for the blind in
Paris.
There children learnt reading. However, they coudnt't write, because
letters were in a special press.
Writing of Braille'a arised learnt about a system of writing used by the
French
army at night. Braille learnt about
the communication system
from a retired captain, Charles Barbiera de la Serre, who visited his
school. The System was based on 12 convex military points, and
the Braille's one used 6 points.
Later Braille died in 1852 of tuberculosis in Paris.
